I am a head of Department for Government and Politics and History. I have experience of KS3, GCSE and A level teaching in History and Government and Politics.

I have examined for Edexcel (Politics) and History (AQA) at A level and have 15 years experience of AS and A2 History and Politics lesson delivery, exam marking, designing Schemes of work and a track record of successful teaching.

I am responsible for the NEA (Non examined Assessment) component of the AQA History A level and can give advice and assistance on this aspect of the A level which is always very challenging for students

As HOD i have a lot of experience of GCSE History examination, AQA in particular but all boards generally.

In addition I was a PE teacher for 5 years having taught PE to GCSE BTEC and A level standard at my previous school before converting to the Humanities.

Also I was responsible for UCAS applications as an Assistant Head of Sixth form and so believe I could offer a University Personal Statement and UCAS application guidance service.

Availability: Weekends exclusively at the moment and preferably online, Friday (nights after 5pm) Saturday and Sundays (anytime)

Experience: I have tutored before both privately for Teach me Tution based in Luton another company and for Tutorhunt. I have been a fully qualified teacher in state schools since 2000 (20 years). I have tutored many students on this platform and others, at A level and GCSE level.
