I am an experienced English teacher, online tutor and examiner up to undergraduate level. Having taught for nearly 20 years I am familiar with a range of different practises and am fully up to date with the current curriculum plus GCSE and A-Level specifications.

As a parent of an autistic child who also has ADHD, I am confident in adapting my teaching to suit the needs of the individual learner. I have tutored home educated students, excluded pupils and those in more traditional settings.

Availability: I prefer to work during the daytime but have a few early evening slots. I can offer holiday workshops and intensive revision too.

Experience: I have provided online tutoring sessions up to undergraduate level and have coached one student all the way through A Level English Literature.

My previous positions include course leader for English Language and Literature A Level at a Sixth Form College, Curriculum Team Leader for English in a mainstream secondary school along with standard English teacher roles.

I regularly help out at my children`s school and have organised cookery clubs and assisted in reading interventions.
