Information about Jennifer
I am a lively English teacher with a love of seeing my students develop. I enjoy reading and discussing books and poetry.
I have been teaching for 6 years, in that time I have worked as a Curriculum Leader and an Assistant Head teacher.
I am passionate about connecting with my students to see them progress and helping them find a love of English.
Availability: Monday - Friday daytime and after school.
Monday - Thursday evenings
Occassional Saturdays
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been teaching English for 8 years in a variety of schools including Grammar schools. I have been offering 1:1 tutoring for over 1 year and I have previously specialised in tutoring C/D and level 4/5 borderline students.
My tutoring students have all made 2 or more grades of progress and I am confident tutoring both English Language and Literature for Edexcel and AQA exam boards.
