Martha

Hello, I’m Martha. I have been working as a tutor for over five years, teaching students of all ages and abilities in English Language and Literature, History and Geography, as well as English as a foreign language and general SEN help.

I am well versed in teaching 11+, 13+ and have experience teaching GCSE and A-level. I am very familiar with the most used exam boards’ (OCR, AQA and EDEXCEL) specifications and marking criteria.

I have a lot of experience working for children’s charities (Kith and Kids, Noah`s Ark Hospice) and have taught English as a second language to both children and adults. I also have experience working with SEN students, which I have particularly enjoyed.

I am really interested in learning about each individual student that I teach, working out the particular areas that need focus as well as building up and playing to their areas of strength. I have flexibility during the week as well as some time over the weekend.
