I`m an online tutor who predominantly teaches English as a Second Language (ESOL) and English Language and Literature (GCSE - Degree level). More specifically offer support with exam preparation and proofreading of essays. I understand how assessments can at first seem overwhelming and it can be hard to know where to begin - I help with breaking the process down and guiding students through revision.

I have a patient nature and work hard to help students realise their potential, build confidence, and see progress with their learning.

My qualifications: TESOL, Masters in English and American Literature (2:1), BA in English Literature (2:1). (Specialisms: Modernism, Structuralism, Post-Structuralism, Poetry, Romanticism, Ecocriticism)
A levels (Classical Civilisation, Religious Studies, English Language and Literature, Fine Art)

Availability: Available Monday - Saturday - lesson times are negotiable.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have four year of experience as a tutor and three as an ESOL teacher. In the last two years I have been working in a college tutoring English as a second language to a variety of ages and level; from beginner to Level 1, to both young learners and adults.

Alongside this, I have specialism in English language and Literature and have much experience in proofreading essays and guiding students through their exam and essay preparation to make them feel less anxious and more confident ahead of their assessment.
