I have a PhD in BioGeoscience from Newcastle University and a First Class combined BSc and Masters in Geology from University of Liverpool. I am also a University visiting lecturer.

I tailor my tutorial courses to suit the needs of the student, whether it be grade-driven or out of interest. I can help with anything from GCSE`s to A Level`s, to undergraduate and post-graduate degrees.

I am friendly, approachable and encourage lots of questions from my students, building or `course correcting` their pre-existing knowledge base.

I can give short courses or one-to-one tutorials.

Personal - Originally from the Wirral, I developed a keen interest in geology and science from an early age. I am passionate about science communication and sympathise with students who learn best on a one-to-one basis because I was once in the same boat.
