Teaching is my passion. I love teaching my lessons as well as preparing them and searching for new activities and materials. My teaching method is communicative and I use a wide range of styles and activities to engage with my students and help turn the classroom into a fun and friendly environment.
Learning Spanish is not just putting words and grammar together. It is opening a new world of opportunities. Opportunities to see new cultures, meet new people, live new experiences.

Experience: For the last few years, I have been teaching fun and engaging Spanish classes to a range of different levels. I have been successfully teaching 1 to 1 and online lessons for:
- GCSEs: AQA, EDEXCEL
I prepare simple, clear and concise lessons as I know how many exams students must prepare for on top of the Spanish GCSE. I organise easy and fun lessons so that they include all the topics, grammar and vocabulary. One of my last students received a 9 in her GCSE Spanish exam, the highest mark possible! I would love to have the opportunity to help as many students as possible achieve the best mark possible.
- A-level :
When preparing students for the A2 exams I help them to become confident in the following areas:
- Speaking in a debate setting which requires research into your topic and familiarity with speaking Spanish
- Reading (reading comprehension, multiple choice questions), writing (essays on a theme), listening (understanding listening, condensing information)
- Within writing, there is also literature where you research a particular book/movie and write an extended essay on this book/movie on a theme
- Beginners to intermediate Spanish for adults
I have taught many adults working in pairs as well as small groups and this has been very enjoyable.
One to one tuition with more advanced students allows the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics and listen to the Spanish news. This way the student develops listening skills and the ability to give complex opinions.
