Information about Lana
I have an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Immunology. I am a research scientist in a busy lab in the School of Medicine, Cardiff University.
I also teach medical students in their Years 1 and 2.
Most of my tutees from previous years had As and have got places in a university of their choices (such as Cardiff, Bristol, Bath Uni). References are available on request.

Experience: I have lots of experience teaching and communicating science over many years and at different levels.
I am familiar with all UK exam boards, particularly with the new WJEC programme.
This year all of my tutees got a place in universities of their choice.

I am fluent in English, Russian and Armenian.

Lana is fantastic, she explains concepts in details and provides practice handouts. We are currently working via Skype due to covid 19. At first I was sceptical about the quality of learning when provided remotely but this has proved to be excellent. I believe this is due to lana’s ability to communicate effectively via any medium. Her knowledge of ALevel chemistry is fantastic and her prices are very reasonable. I would recommend her services to anybody looking for a quality tutor.

Lana is an excellent tutor, I would highly recommend her tutoring. Before Lana`s help, my daughter struggled with Physics and Biology subjects, but with Lana`s help, she gained more confidence and understanding and gained fantastic GCSE grades in all her core science subjects. Lana is very friendly and easy to talk to and always provided me with constructive feedback on my daughter`s progress and where she could improve. Fantastic tutor.
