As a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher, I am currently working as a KS2 teacher on rota, also offering private tuition online during the pandemic. Last year I worked as a Y6 SATs Booster Group Teacher at Larks Hill J&I School, Pontefract and achieved a 90% pass rate. I have previously worked in a range of Primary schools as a Supply teacher for 27 years. This has mainly mainly been in KS2 on long term assignments, but I have KS1 experience too.

Teaching across the Primary Curriculum, I offer preparation for SATs, 11+, Scholarship and School Entrance Exams as well as general primary tuition. It has recently been announced that this September`s 11+ exams will go ahead. At the moment I want to support those who are Home Schooling and I am happy to just answer questions or queries if you are stuck. My qualifications are a PGCE from The School of Education, Leeds University (1993), Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, The Open University (2008) and a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching, The Coaching Academy (2014).

My coaching and psychology qualifications enable me to motivate and inspire learners by setting achievable short-term goals based on individual motivation while building confidence and resilience.

Availability: I am available from 12.30 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday.
