My name is Joanne, I was born in Germany near Frankfurt and have been living in England for over 6 years now. I Originally came over to Suffolk to study my A-Levels here, as I found my options in Germany limited, and it had always been an aspiration of mine to live and work in England. I have been interested and drawn towards the world of teaching since working with disabled children a few years ago.

Learning German with a good accent is becoming more and more important in today`s society, being a desirable asset in various fields many universities now state that a knowledge of German is a more important supplement than any other language.

I have had several years of teaching experience, as both a private tutor and as an in-class tutor for GCSE and A Level students. I strive to create a friendly and informal atmosphere when teaching, with emphasis on real life German application. This may include a focus on media, such as studying German films or audio books, however this can be altered to suit your learning style.
