Experience: My name is Julia. I am an experienced maths teacher of 5 years in Secondary Education and have also tutored maths on a 1:1 basis for several years.
I am familiar with all Exam boards and their specifications, including GCSE, Further GCSE and A-level.
I do 1:1 tutoring specifically tailored to the needs of my students and can provide all resources including revision material and past papers.
I have prepared students for their maths Key Stage 2 SATS examinations (year 6).
I`ve also worked with students that may not be confident in certain areas such as exam technique or just getting to grips with understanding maths and giving my student(s) confidence.
I am experienced in examining GCSE and A-level papers. I have worked collaboratively with other maths teachers at school and have attended lots of courses in teaching methods and current syllabuses.
I have a degree in Maths, PGCE in secondary education and additional certificates in teaching GCSE maths, A-level maths and mechanics with the AMSP (Advanced Maths Support Program).
My goal with every student I work with, is to build confidence and help students gain a better understanding of maths to reach their full potential.
