Hi, I`ve been teaching singing and drama for over 15 years for students aged from 8 years plus, from beginners to the more experienced singer! I specialise in musical theatre and pop. I also offer repertoire, acting and audition coaching.

I am passionate about helping students develop their confidence and creativity through the performing arts.

I`m originally from Scotland before I moved to London to train at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I`ve combined teaching with professional performing work since then.

Together we will explore safe use of the voice, breathing technique, musical theatre and pop repertoire and performance skills. As an active performer myself I understand the importance of delivering a song on an emotional and connected level as well as with good technique.

Vocal technique will be based on though not restricted to the Estill model. Everyone`s voice is unique to them and there is no `one size fits all` when it comes to teaching voice. Together we will discover what works for you!

I am committed to delivering well-planned, fun and engaging sessions designed to help my students develop confidence as well as nurture their talent.

For singing lessons I use a mix of piano accompaniment (at my home or where available) and/or backing tracks.

I teach Acting and Verse & Prose according to the LAMDA syllabus where students enter exams and progress along grades. Students will develop:
Interpretative skills
Technical skills
Knowledge of the performance process

Singing lessons can be 30min or 1 hour.
Acting and Verse & Prose are 30mins.

Experience: I`ve been teaching for over 15 years with many students going on to stage schools and professional work. I have taught at Degree level for New College Lanarkshire in Scotland and at BTEC level for The BRIT School in addition to private students many of whom simply enjoy singing as a hobby.

I provide acting workshops for the Ambassadors Theatre Group and for Acting BTEC students at Big Creative Education.

As a performer I`ve appeared in the West End production of The Sound of Music, the UK tour of Mamma Mia as well as on cruise ships and in regional theatres. I enjoy sharing my love of performing with my students!
