I have a Master’s in English, French and Pedagogy and I have been teaching mainly EAP and Pathway programmes over the last years. Nevertheless, I also have extensive experience in preparing students for Cambridge English exams (FCE, CAE, and IELTS exams), which I gained in Italy and Asia.
Over the last 15 years I have been teaching in Asia (Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia), Oman, in the UK and in various countries in Europe. I am therefore very aware of cultural differences and the needs of learners in an international HE context. I have also learnt to deal with different levels of English in the classroom and to tailor the content of my lessons accordingly. Moreover, I see myself as being competent to evaluate and assess my teaching skills against student progress and performance. As I have been teaching for 15 years now I am find it easy to adapt to a different syllabus and the content of lessons to particular student needs.
