I graduated with a BSc in Genetics from Nottingham University but then chose to go travelling, 18 years and 88 countries later I started to teach. I believe my experiences on the road, when combined with my science knowledge, will help me make science interesting to my pupils and encourage them to want to study

I was working as a science teacher when Covid arrived, but this pushed me into tuition which I actually find far more enjoyable and rewarding than teaching in classrooms.

I am highly organised, a good leader, a good communicator and listener. I have experienced various cultures and beliefs, met a variety of interesting characters and communicated without language, all requiring an abundance of patience and a sense of humour. I am flexible, adaptable and dealing with diabetes means I am in a position to help others overcome hurdles to realise their ambitions.

Availability: I currently have 4 students and occasionally teach in schools but I do have some free time in my schedule so please don`t hesitate to contact me.

Experience: I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2019 and have worked teaching Science every since. I teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at KS2, KS3 and KS4 (ages 6-16).
