Information about Mikey
I`m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor, currently in my first year of studying Physics at the University of Oxford.
I encourage a supportive and positive tutoring environment with the aim of improving the students confidence, resilience and academic ability. My recent experience of GCSEs and A Levels has taught me that the students who progress the most are those that enjoy learning the most, and the first step towards this is often confidence. Whilst building upon this, I aim to teach students to learn and revise more effectively, gearing them towards exam success.

Availability: Currently none whilst I`m back at university.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I worked as a part-time tutor for both GCSE and A Level Maths & Physics whilst taking a gap year before university and saw steady improvement in all of my students which was demonstrated by their exam success.
I also have recent experience of GCSEs and A Levels so I am very familiar with the material covered and can reciprocate the pressure and struggle they bring for both students and parents!

My daughter is really enjoying her tutor sessions with Mikey, her confidence is growing and they are covering all the parts of the subject that she needs help with. Would thoroughly recommend Mikey.

Mikey is a fantastic teacher. My son has progressed tremendously because of the way Mikey explains things & he really enjoys the sessions. So glad we found him, would definitely recommend him to others.
