A little about me:
For some reason Chemistry makes me happy. I know that`s not always the same for my students; some have their sights set on other academic goals! My job is to help students understand by breaking down complex ideas, then rebuilding with exam-style scenarios.
I have worked hard to understand how to communicate the more complex concepts and calculations more clearly to students, and how guided practise can help them with exam techniques and success.
My resources library is extensive, multi-levelled and linked to the contemporary requirements of the exam boards.
I have been working online since 2016 and have contributed towards academic research into maximising student progress in online scenarios with Durham University
I have been working as a private tutor on a full time basis for over 5 years. Due the pandemic, I have also joined the National Tutoring Programme through Edexcel and Pearson as a tutor and advisor. In addition to Chemistry tuition, I also work as a tutor for the Dept. of Academic Development at Durham University (EAP).

I would recommend Olivia to any students struggling with A-level chemistry. Her lessons were incredibly useful and helped me to understand every topic on the syllabus that I had problems learning on my own. Sessions with Olivia were always enjoyable and always tailored to my learning style which made studying chemistry a lot easier as someone with ADHD. I received an A thanks to her help.
