I am a designer and artist with 30 years experience in the creative world(film,TV,painting).My aim is to encourage my students and develop their skills.
Art and creativity are central to my life (Painting, film, theatre, design in particular).My passion for the arts continues to inspire and challenge. My tutoring ,generally one to one, has developed naturally over the past 10 years and it gives me enormous satisfaction to see my students progressing and developing.My aim is to inspire and develop your skills and confidence in your own abilities.

Experience: I studied architecture and then moved to the BBC,London where I worked as an Assistant Designer.After 5 years I left to work freelance in Films,TV and Commercials as a Designer and Art Director.
My career now includes collaborating with designers in film and interiors working on commissions and personal project .I have tutored mainly one to one for students of many ages and requirements, from preparing for GCSE & A levels, applying for university for architecture /art/design, improving skills and confidence for job applications.

My paintings are regularily exhibited in group & solo exhibitions including and have been exhibited with The Royal Portrait Society and The ING Discerning Eye exhibitions at The Mall Galleries,London.
Also at The National Portrait Gallery,London with the BP AWARDS at The National Portrait Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery ,Edinburgh

I was a visiting artist for a year in a junior school and ran portrait projects with the children.I have a City &Guilds Certificate for Deliverying Learning which has proved to be invaluable when working with students with a variety of requirements and learning styles.. I now tutor one to one ( all age groups) preferably in my studio or in their home.Each session is carefully devised to help build your skills and confidence .
I work with a wide variety of students from Arts Scholarship applicants,A Landscape Architecture student needing guidance with a final project ,a Textile design student requiring help researching and preparing a project a 23 year old applying for a foundation year at University, to adults wanting to develop their creative skills for work or their own pleasure and satisfaction.
