Hello! My name is Christina, and I’m a private tutor recently relocated from London to the beautiful village of Cossington. For the past 20 years, I’ve had the joy of supporting children aged 3 to 14 as they grow in confidence and curiosity — whether preparing for entrance exams or simply building solid foundations in key subjects.

I specialise in tailoring lessons to suit each individual child, adapting to their unique learning style — whether they’re visual, auditory, or sensory learners. My teaching is gentle but focused, always aiming to create a calm, kind and encouraging environment where children feel safe to explore ideas and enjoy the learning process.

I work closely with families to ensure consistent support, not just for exams, but in nurturing positive attitudes toward learning that last well beyond the classroom. Parents often tell me they appreciate the calm, kind, and nurturing environment I create.

Experience: I have 20 years` experience as a private tutor, specialising in preparation for 7+, 8+, 10+, and 11+ entrance exams. My students have gone on to gain places at some of London’s most competitive independent schools, including St Paul’s Girls’ School, Colet Court (St Paul’s Juniors), City of London School, Latymer, Thomas’s, and Emanuel.

My tutoring spans English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, and interview preparation. I’ve worked with children from a wide range of backgrounds and learning profiles, and I always adapt my methods to meet the needs of the individual student.

In addition to academic progress, I place a strong emphasis on building focus, resilience, and a sense of personal achievement. My calm and empathetic approach is often highlighted by parents as a key strength, especially during times of pressure.
