Information about Katie
I`m Katie, a first year physics student at the University of Birmingham. How physics and maths combine to explain almost everything in the universe has always fascinated me and it was this passion to understand more that inspired me to study physics at a higher level.
Exams are tough. Studying maths, further maths and physics at A Level meant that I had my fair share of them. However, with the right attitude and understanding of the questions, that exam stress gradually starts to decrease.
I had the most inspiring physics teacher during my A Levels. He has a real love for his subject which was clear through his teaching. I aim to tackle tutoring in the same way.
Availability: I am available every day.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have over 100 hours experience of online tutoring and I will always structure my lectures based on your needs. Giving me a list of particular areas where you are struggling then allows me to generate some questions and notes based on what you need the most.
To assess your progress, I will occasionally hand out question sheets that you can go through and if needed, I will then go through in a tutorial so that I can monitor areas that prove difficult to you and again tailor the sessions to meet these requirements. It is important that you do these, because as they say, practice makes perfect!
