I have recently moved to Kendal to work as a chemical engineer for a pharmaceutical company after deciding to have a change of career since qualifying as a secondary chemistry and science teacher, to pursue my interests in applying my science skills.

I still have a strong passion for the teaching and learning environment and participate with a number of science charities working with schools performing liquid nitrogen demonstrations.

I have tutored for the past 4 years to students ranging from GCSE to degree level. I am experienced in a number of syllabuses and always use their specific objectives as my guide to ensure the whole content is covered. My lessons usually consist of a short PowerPoint presentation followed by exercises and past paper questions. I can set homework and construct a revision timetable. Closer to exam time I normally go through past papers and am always happy to assist with coursework etc.

Availability: Evenings and weekends.
