Information about Sarah
I am a fully qualified secondary English teacher with a university degree (English literature and language BA Hons -2:1) and a PGCE in Secondary English. I have experience in working with students aged 7 to 18 of all abilities as well as SEN. My teaching style is fun, relevant and creative. Highly approachable with a warm personality, I work with students to identify and fill gaps in their knowledge to help them realise their full potential and improve their confidence. I offer a bespoke approach to learning and plan all lessons according to the individual student`s needs.
Availability: I am fully booked until after May half term 2022 when my year 11s leave. After that, I will have a little bit of availability for students in school and those who are home educated.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have worked in education for 6 years teaching and tutoring students in schools and privately.
I can teach all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and iGCSE Cambridge.
SATS, 11+ experience and succes.

Sarah is alway on time and is very reliable. My son has enjoyed the sessions they have done so far and found her way of tutoring fun, easy to understand and she provided strategies for him to revise in a more productive way. She reviewed his school work and set sessions to meet his learning gaps and was aware of the areas that needed extra support, focusing on these to help prepare him for his mocks and then his GCSE’s.
