Information about Amirah

I am a medical student at Cambridge University and have received 3 A* in A level OCR Biology, AQA Chemistry and Edexcel Maths. Ipreviously achieved nine 9s in GCSEs, including Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, French and Spanish. I believe that I can offer effective tutoring to A level and GCSE pupils who simply want to get a head start in the curriculum but also help students who are struggling with specific aspects of the curriculum and need to quickly understand them before exams.

Experience: I have previously taught biology to students within my secondary school whilst in sixth form. The sessions targeted exam content but also provided opportunities to expand on the curriculum - we explored how the curriculum was relevant to the current situation. From feedback, students found the sessions engaging and insightful. Students considering medicine as a career path found the sessions especially useful.
