I believe the best science teachers are the ones who main focus is on the progress students made. I have both international and local experience in teaching not just science but a wide range of subjects. I am an educator who believe every child can learn given the right teacher, I am that teacher. I have been in education 12 years now. 10years in Jamaica Secondary School System and 5 years in the British System. I have taken onboard many different teaching strategies__cooperative leaning, visual cues, inquiry based-instruction, just to name a view__coupled with known theorists- from Vygotsky `in order for a student to learn a concept or skill, the concept or skill had to be within what he called the student`s “zone of proximal development.” to the most common Bloom`s taxonomy. In Jamaica it is more difficult for leaners to achieve, however, in my first year of teaching all my students(46) pass physics from a school were the pas rate for previous year fell down. I have done private tutoring all my kids pass with top grades (1and 2) in CXC which is eequivalent to A*-B here. This just a bite of what I a capable of as an educator
