Information about Ellie
I have a degree in primary education, specialised in maths. I offer tutoring in all subjects covered by the primary national curriculum. I have a child-centred approach to teaching and will tailor each session to the child`s individual needs, personality and level. I currently only offer online lessons due to Covid 19 restrictions.
I`m currently working as a year 6 class teacher, but have previously had teaching experience in years 2, 3,4 and 6.
I enjoy working with children and I am dedicated to enabling young minds to develop and achieve
I set high expectations and goals that stretch and challenge pupils. I know when and how to differentiate appropriately, using approaches which enable pupils to be taught effectively.
Availability: I would be available for tutoring during evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I currently work as a primary school teacher - teaching year 5. I have a secure knowledge of the new National Curriculum (2014) and current schemes of work used in schools.

Ellie has been working with our 11 years old daughter for two years and she made good progress in maths. She was also developing confidence in her abilities which I think is due to Ellie`s supportive and positive attitude. We would highly recommend her.

Have only really just started with Miss Honey, but she`s a lovely tutor who my children really get on well with, personable but professional, knowledgeable on curriculum and encouraging.
