Information about Sara
I am an experienced teacher specialising in Special Needs and Behaviour Management. I have 25 years of teaching experience in the Primary, Secondary, mainstream and special school settings.
I am an independent consultant specialist teacher working for parents of children with additional needs, I have a sound understanding of SEN legislation and have SENDIST tribunal experience.
I am offering 1:1 work with children and young people with high anxiety to provide supportive conversations and to try to uncover reasons behind the anxiety and to improve self-esteem.
I am also offering tutoring for primary aged pupils. I do not offer tutoring to help pupils to pass 11+ exams or Year 6 SATS. I provide tutoring for pupils who find aspects of learning challenging and/or who are working at below expected for their age in areas of English and Maths.
