I have always enjoyed working with young people, starting from my summer job working as a camp counsellor in the USA and leading to my current career as a secondary school English Teacher. In between I have worked as a volunteer English teacher in rural Cambodia and a programme manager for university exchange students.

The thing that I find most rewarding about this work is seeing students realise their potential.

Outside of teaching I love going to the theatre to see plays and musicals. I also love to travel and have been to 85 countries so far with many more on my list! Reading and literature is my greatest passion and I really love passing this on to young people that I tutor and teach.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS. I trained at the Institute of Education at UCL and achieved the highest possible grades in all aspects of my course in Secondary English. I have a First Class BA in English Literature, an MA English Education and MA Modern and Contemporary Literature.

I have taught full time for the past 3 years in a range of UK and international settings. I have taught ages 11 - 18 including GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level.

I have a wealth of experience teaching online and like using technology to make lessons interactive, engaging and fun. I love using talk to explore ideas about literature and spend time getting to know students so that I can adapt my lessons to their individual learning styles and goals.
