I am currently undertaking a PhD in Biochemistry at The University of Birmingham, having recently graduated from Durham University reading Natural Sciences (Chemistry and Biology) MSc (Hons). Having completed my A Levels in 2013, and my GCSE`s two years earlier, I have a modern understanding of how students can achieve their potential. I tutor GCSE level Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. My A Level results of Biology (A*), Physics (A*), Chemistry (A) and Maths (A) (1st in college year) were achieved through learning techniques that I believe can be passed onto other students so that they can achieve high grades. My style focuses on enabling my students to understand concepts thoroughly, and then implementing this knowledge using past exam questions. Having recently gone through the process of applying to university, I understand the importance of succeeding in external examinations and the UCAS process. I am also happy to help with UCAS applications as I pride myself on making sure my students can achieve their academic potential.

Availability: As a full-time PhD student, my availability is evenings and on weekends.

Experience: I have been tutoring for nearly five years now, and have helped students significantly improve their grades. I have tutored Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics in the past and feel that as a graduate who has been through the academic process of GCSE`s and A Levels in the recent past, I can use my experiences to aid my tutoring style. Feedback from my clients suggests that this approach is working in terms of academic improvement and overall satisfaction.

I have taken several students from a C grade to A*, and strongly believe this can be achieved at GCSE and A-Level by anyone willing to adopt my learning techniques and put the hard graft in.
