Anqi

My name is Anqi (pronounced Angie). I am a certified Mandarin Chinese teacher. I provide Mandarin tutoring to clients of all age groups and levels in-person and online. Lessons are highly tailored towards client’s interests, learning style, and objects. I strive to make language learning interactive, practical and playful, and teach Mandarin as a skill more than knowledge.

Experience: My clients range from 2 to 72 year olds, coming from various cultural, and professional backgrounds. Some aspires to learn the language so they can go open a French-Vietnamese restaurant in Taipei, while some wants to go travel the country after retiring from the banking sector. Some young client developed an interest in Mandarin growing up around their parent who had a collection of dress and costumes from the Qing Dynasty, while some reached out because they had given up on French and Spanish, and need a foreign language credit for school.
