Information about Sikander
"If you can`t explain it simply, you don`t understand it well enough". This principle is central to my teaching philosophy. I identify gaps in my student`s knowledge by asking questions, encouraging them to learn by thinking through the problem for themselves.
I tutor the Eleven Plus (and entrance into Manchester based grammar schools), Maths, Science, and English.
Availability: I am available over the weekend and specific times would need to be discussed.
Willing to travel: 1 miles
Experience: I am tutoring high school students in Maths and Science. I also work on the student`s study habits to improve their technique and confidence.
I have taught in highschools, primary schools, and in tutoring centres.
I am adaptable in my approach and have experience working with SEN students and children with severe social anxiety.

Sikander has helped and encouraged my daughter with her skills in maths and science. His teaching approach has made my daughter to feel more motivated towards learning. He hasn’t only taught her, but worked with her on her weak points in each subject and helped her build on the topics needed. He is patient and flexible which helped her a lot. A 5 stars tutor!
