Experience: With over 6 years of tutoring experience I have tutored children/teens from the ages 4-18. I aim to help my students not by just achieving good grades but also by finding interest in their subjects and reaching their full potential. Providing tailored lessons to each individual, I focus on the students weaknesses and I work with them to eliminate it. Most importantly I believe in regular interactive sessions with my students. I provide a lot of extra helpful material such as questions, diagrams and illustrations. To make sure the student is engaged, I review and summarise each lesson and if any concepts were not understood I make sure to go over it again. I create a comfortable and supportive environment with no pressure on the student as I know from past experiences this is the best way for students to enjoy learning.
With my own interest in the sciences I tend to provide my students with the bigger picture when explaining certain concepts to aid them in understanding complex processes, this is usually met with a lot of curiosity and intrigue.
I am also trained to work with students that have learning difficulties and learning disabilities.
