I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with joint undergraduate studies in Trumpet and Baroque Trumpet. As well my BMus(Hons), I achieved a teaching LRAM, was a recipient of the Leslie Regan Trust Prize and was a fellow of the Open Academy Outreach Programme.

I have a passion for early music and was a participant of the OAE Academy in 2014 – I toured with the European un ion Baroque Orchestra and Eboracum Baroque Orchestra during that year.

As a student, I developed my knowledge of learning and participation music programmes through training and outreach work with: the London Sinfonietta, London Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Cymru, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, English Touring Opera, Royal Academy of Music, Eboracum Baroque Orchestra, Constella OperaBallet, National Orchestra for All, The Nucleo Project, London Music Masters, as well as collaborative education work with the Camden, Slough, Cambridge and Hertfordshire Music Services.

Experience: I have an extensive brass and piano teaching portfolio (as well as GCSE and A Level Music tuition) and have in recent times taught brass instruments for: Hertfordshire Music Service and St Hilda’s Preparatory School for Girls.

At Hertsmere Jewish Primary and Bowmansgreen Primary, I am the music lead, teaching music to KS1, KS2 and Early Years Foundation Stage, run choirs, music assemblies and deliver group instrumental lessons too. I also hold one-to-one instrumental lessons for students at Bowmansgreen Primary.

I have delivered music sessions for Kisharon and Jewish Care, charities who work with adults and young adults with special needs; working with children with complex needs is something I`ve done as a volunteer too at Woodfield School. At Hertsmere Primary, I have delivered one-to-one SEND music support to those with additional needs.

I work with brass and piano students up to grade 8 and teach violin, ukulele and recorder to beginners.

My lessons focus on developing secure technique and general musical skills, including applying music theory, arranging, improvisation, co-ordination and aural awareness.

I focus on the ABRSM and Rockschool grade syllabuses. I also work through ABRSM Music Medals with beginners for developing ensemble playing and initial exam experience.
