Senior leader in a secondary school. Experienced English teacher and examiner. Working in large secondary teaching the AQA spec. I have marked for a major exam board and have a range of approaches to teaching students to succeed in their exams. Responsible for the quality of education across my school, I am responsible for promoting teaching and learning across staff and developing other teachers and as such am a proficient teacher.

Availability: I am available most evenings of the week and weekends is something that could be discussed.

Experience: Training to teach and achieving QTS at Outstanding on the prestigious Teach First programme, I am a research-informed practitioner with the drive and know how to help students of all abilities to improve their grasp of the subject. I hold a first class degree in English Language from the University of Reading and was awarded AAB in English Literature, English Language and Law at college. I am a senior leader in a school receiving a promotion from Head of English.
