I am a 23 year old Teaching Assistant based in Eccles. I currently work at a Pupil Referral Unit working with children with a range of complex needs and behavioural difficulties. At this provision, I have gained valuable experience teaching a number of subjects such as English and Maths, as well as PSHE and Spanish. I have also lead a subject area (Spanish), which has involved preparing course content and delivering this content throughout the school. I am currently offering Maths and English tuition for primary school students. This can involve tutoring specific one off lessons or working through a curriculum over a number of sessions. Given current lockdown restrictions, I will be offering online tuition over video call. This will be £;9 for 1 H/R or £;16 for 2. Please don`t hesitate to get in touch with any enquiries. Experience: A first class honours degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy Studies.
2 years experience working in a variety of educational settings.
2 years experience working in a variety of different academic roles, such as Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentoring and children`s Counsellor.
Experience teaching students in a variety of subjects such as English and Maths.
Experience leading a subject area (Spanish), including preparing and delivering course content.
Experience teaching at mainstream academic settings and alternative behavioural provisions.
Experience teaching on a 1-2-1 basis as well as teaching groups and classes.
Experience working as a personal assistant for children with additional needs.
Current holder of a DBS certificate.
