I have been tutoring at primary, through to GCSE for over 5 years.
I have enjoyed helping young people who struggle with there conventional styles of teaching for 15 years, and feel that using humour and encourage questioning of the subjects put young people at their ease and more accepting to learning.
Happy to work in the young person`s home or a suitable place nearby, as necessary
Availability: Availability is almost full time, and am happy to work during the day or evenings.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: Having trained as a mathematics specalist, I have taught as a class teacher in primary schools with responsibility for maths and all other primary subjects.
I enjoy working with young people to build their confidence and liking of subjects.
More recently I have been tutoring maths, geography and history to GCSE standard. I have taught english to GCSE standard.
I am proud of my ability to get on with both parents, teachers and the young people.
