Having spent 34 years of my life in the engineering industry setting up and running engineering organisations delivering leading edge technology programs to global customers, I have a wealth of experience of working with and developing successful teams. This experience of working with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, in conjunction with my passion and enjoyment of maths enables me to teach to students in a manner they embrace.

Throughout my engineering career, I have been involved with and exposed to the mathematics associated with the technologies enabling me to maintain a high level of subject knowledge.

During my electronics degree, due to the very analytical nature of the course, maths was a central part of the studies. Not only was it extensively called upon during all the circuit and systems analysis modules, it was also taught as a core module. Having also studied Maths and Further Maths at ‘A’ level, my subject matter knowledge is solid
