Information about Stewart
I am a teacher of many years experience and have taught KS3, KS4 and KS5 science and maths. A certified google educator I specialise in making learning fun using technology. I am extremely proud of all my students that I have taught including two students recently who attained places at Oxbridge colleges to study physics and maths. I have recently improved my teaching through a surprising route. I was asked to teach SEND (Special Educational Needs) classes at my school who had a particularly large intake and had to adapt my teaching style to introduce more support for students. I have since become more accomplished at making the topics accessible to students whilst still maintaining an appropriate level of challenge. I have since used these enhanced techniques in all of my classes and tutoring sessions and have seen amazing results.
You will see from my reviews that I am encouraging to my students and forge strong relationships which allow them to improve their confidence levels which leads to greater achievement.

Stewart has been excellent with my son, his technique and enthusiasm has really worked and even during these lockdown times he does video conferences to continue the class. My son has definitely found his tutoring helpful and beneficial. Highly recommended.

Stewart is a delight to work with - my two children likes him. According to them, a dedicated educator with a positive attitude, very polite, & good sense of humour (which makes the lessons lively and interesting & not boring). Stewart is very honest & firm but always finding ways to engage my two children in their lessons and always explain everything in depth, he is a very patient mentor and always punctual. It is my pleasure to strongly recommend MR.STEWART MATTHEWS as an educator, I am impressed with his teaching concepts and have seen the difference in a way my two children behaved and tremendously learned in just few lessons. Stewart makes each lesson enjoyable & engaging for my children.
