I am a friendly and warm tutor who endeavours to make the subjects I love enjoyable to students. I enjoy working with students of all ability levels and particularly enjoy the privilege of being able to develop a close learning relationship with my tutees.

I gained an International Relations degree from Durham University and worked in commercial law for a few years before deciding to change career to work in education. I truly love the mutual sense of achievement that comes from unlocking knowledge and skills for students. I have a proven track record of gaining good grades and currently work in an "Outstanding" local school and can bring this experience to the benefit of your child.

Availability: My availability is flexible but is limited to after 5 pm on weekdays.

Experience: I am a qualified history teacher with experience teaching History, RE and Politics. I currently teach at a local school and have GCSE and A level classes for history with a proven track record of gaining good results for students irrespective of ability level. I am also experienced at assisting students with Extended Project Qualifications and UCAS applications.

I currently teach the Edexcel qualification for GCSE and A level History, the modules I teach are below but I am adaptable to any other modules that you or your child might be studying.
