Calm, Methodical and Encouraging Biology/Chemistry Tutor!

My name is Jay, and I am currently a medical student at the University of Leicester, having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds, where I achieved a 1st Class Honours.

I am a relaxed tutor, that helps students to actively engage in material and master exam techniques that are vital for top marks. I use a wide range of revision methods in order to improve understanding and provide confidence to tackle all types of examination question ... and at a reasonable price!

For aspiring medics! - I am also available to help with applications to medical school. As this process is often tricky and complicated, I can assist with personal statements, UCAT exams and work experience.

Availability: I am available on weekday late afternoon/evenings as well as most weekends. Earlier times can be arranged if needed.

Experience: I have been tutoring now for 3 years throughout my university experience. Starting as a tutor to 1st year students while at the University of Leeds, I began to do 1:1 sessions with GCSE, A-Level and foundation level students. I am totally committed to helping students understand tricky and often intimidating concepts, and preparing them with the tools required to impress examiners.
