Hi, I`m Michael a Biological Sciences graduate from the University of Oxford with A-levels in Biology (A*), Chemistry (A), Mathematics (A) and Spanish (A*). I also achieved 5 As at AS-level and 10 A*s and 1 A at GCSE whilst at St Paul`s School, Barnes.

I am comfortable tutoring Biology and Spanish at any level, Chemistry, Maths, and Geography up until AS-Level and a wider range of subjects at GCSE/KS3. Having had to routinely study for public exams since the age of 13, I am familiar with the content of GCSE and A-level courses and knowledgeable about the most effective ways to approach them, able to help with developing more efficient time management strategies as well as targeted revision plans and techniques.

I also have experience with both Oxbridge and American university admissions, having been through the rigorous processes relatively recently, and can therefore offer help with both applications (personal statements, college essays etc.) and interview preparation.

Experience: I independently founded and ran weekly Spanish classes for children at Wimbledon library, designing the term-long course, preparing all lessons materials, and adjusting my teaching style and methodology to each individual child’s needs.

I also worked as a summer volunteer at the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, Madrid where I taught groups of children from the ages of 8 to 14 about a broad range of scientific topics.

Both activities have provided me with ample teaching experience with a focus on scientific and linguistic subjects.
