My name is Roxy and I`ve been teaching English for 10years now. Mostly KS3 and 4, but also some KS2.

You can learn from me as I`m dedicated, committed and love to see students achieve their best.
I completely understand if English isn`t your favourite subject (none of my kids have chosen to study it beyond GCSE), but I also realise the importance of you achieving the best grade you possibly can. Similarly I love the push of students who are just trying to catch the last couple of marks that will get them the highest grades available. Fine tuning 😊;
I have a friendly approach, and like my students to feel comfortable in my lessons. Successful tutoring really is teamwork, and you will always have 100% from me.

Availability: Weekday evening after 6pm

Experience: I`ve been working in mainstream secondary schools for over 10 years, teaching GCSE English/ English Lit and Functional Skills.
I`m familiar with the qualifying boards and have taught most current texts, and anthologies. As a teacher I can both teach, improve and reinforce the skills you need to succeed. Currently I am tutoring online, my students include children from both local comprehensive schools, and independent schools.

My BA is in English, and I am about to begin a Masters in Education.
