I am extremely passionate about supporting young people reach their full potential. The new GCSE specifications and curriculum leave many young people lacking confidence in their academic abilities; I am committed to ensuring that all students have the knowledge, skills, and tools required to achieve the grades that they deserve. Not only am I a qualified English teacher, but I have a degree in Psychology and experience in pastoral roles where I`ve ensured that students develop emotionally as well as academically.

Availability: Currently, I am avaliable Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after 5.30pm. However, I can be flexible and am more than happy to discuss times that suit the both of us.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have six and a half years experience as an English teacher, teaching in London, Cambodia, and Manchester. I participated in the Teach First Leadership Development Program, have been consistently rated as Good and Outstanding in all lesson observations, and led many teacher training workshops on different aspects of effective teaching & learning. My main area of expertise is literacy, GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature (Edexcel and AQA) . Furthermore, I have experience teaching Psychology A-Level and worked as Head of Year 12 for two years. Thus, I can provide advice on post-16 options and can raise the confidence and/or aspirations of young people.
