Information about Katie
I am an enthusiastic clarinet teacher with experience teaching students of different ages and skill levels from beginner to advanced.
I began teaching in 2009, and have an undergraduate degree in classical clarinet from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance.
I currently teach in London Primary and Secondary schools and privately in the evenings.
Availability: Weekday Evenings
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: As a performer I have participated in many concerts in various styles including classical, contemporary and klezmer at venues such as Cadogan Hall, LSO St Luke’s and the O2 Arena.
Since finishing my degree I have held administrative roles at Junior Trinity and the Royal College of Music Junior Department. I have exceptional organisation skills, am a trained first aider, DBS checked and up to date with safeguarding and Special Educational Needs training.

Katie is a very nice and professional tutor. She is always on time and organises the next lesson ahead of time in case the student or she cannot attend at the usual moment. She is very flexible in her timings and adapts her lessons to the level of the student, while trying to push them progressively to become better. I highly recommend her as a tutor.
