I am extremely passionate about helping and supporting students within their studies- especially students who may feel anxious towards a certain subject. I am keen to help any student overcome any barriers that are preventing them to progress further. My main aim is to help students develop confidence and to gain a concrete understanding of which ever subject they feel they need more practice with. I feel that I have a in depth understanding of learning and I am determined to help all learners succeed.

Experience: Throughout my career, I`ve had the privilege of engaging with learners across a broad spectrum, spanning from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), primary, secondary, to adult learners returning to academic pursuits. My expertise lies particularly in mathematics, although I have consistently taught English, science, and life skills. Additionally, I possess specialised training in autism-specific curriculum and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) curricula.

My professional journey has seen me navigate various educational environments, including SEN/D and SEMH schools, mainstream institutions, independent schools, and pupil referral units. As a qualified child and adolescent counsellor, I offer comprehensive support beyond academic realms, providing guidance and assistance in emotional and psychological well-being.

I take pride in my ability to connect with even the most disengaged pupils, fostering an environment that is both nurturing and conducive to learning.
