Hello! I`m pleased to meet you!
I`m mainly a secondary school teacher, but I`ve worked a wide variety of other education settings. I am able to teach children from aged eight right through to adult learners, and we can cover exam content, targeted materials or just learn for fun.
I specialise in teaching people with additional learning needs, and `reluctant` learners!
Whatever your goals are, we`ll get there together.
Availability: I am available every evening and afternoon. I have some morning availability, please ask for other times.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am an experienced secondary school teacher, with a good understanding of how learners experience lessons. I will work with you to meet your goals, however big or small they are. I am experienced in international testing, as well as UK based qualifications. We can work on exam content, work towards an event or public performance or just study for fun. Whatever your aims are, we will get there together!

I had arranged for Sophie to come and do a taster session but she did not attend. Tried to arrange another date but it took time for Sophie to get back to me. By which time I’d found a tutor elsewhere.

Very knowledgeable Music Tutor. My daughter finds the lessons are helping her improve her music theory. As is an online tutor and I do not meet her face to face, I asked for weekly updates on work done and progress, which Sophie is kindly providing. .
