I am UK trained teacher who speaks English and Greek. I have homes in the UK and Cyprus. I travel extensively and have worked in a number of international settings. I qualified at the University of Birmingham and completed my QTS in Dudley. Prior to this I completed my BA at the University of Manchester and my MA at King`s College London. I completed a PhD in Byzantine History at the University of Birmingham. Six years ago I did an intensive CELTA course and I teach at English summer schools every year.

Experience: I have taught in a variety of educational settings, including universities (I have a PhD), as well as international schools and UK schools. I have extensive experience teaching a wide range of subjects: History, Government & Politics, Sociology, Global Citizenship/Perspectives, Classical Civilisation, Religious Education, Philosophy, Psychology and Law. I am also CELTA trained and I have taught English Language and Literature extensively. My students achieve excellent exam results; I prepare them thoroughly and leave no part of the specification uncovered. I have gained a lot of experience tutoring online and have developed a huge number of resources to stimulate and challenge my students. I always make myself available to my students for any difficulties they experience with their work, to assist with HW tasks and assignments, and to check grammar and punctuation. I have taught all age ranges, including adult learners.
