Robert has been very helpful. I struggle to understand the theory and need that extra step to help me understand which is exactly what he has done. I have improved knowledge wise and the layout of my answers are much better in recent unit tests.

I would strongly NOT recommend Robert. He gave feedback in front of my son which was recklessly negative and demotivating while finding this funny. He also turned up looking dishevelled and in an odd state which did not appear to be compatible with teaching. I am not sure if he is always this incoherent and lacking in judgement or whether we were particularly unlucky. You are wasting your money if you choose this so-called tutor.

Tutors Response :

I am sorry that I was not able to meet your expectations of a tutor. I note throughout the feedback the learning is unmentioned which I would suggest is the key factor to consider. I believe substantial and palpable learning and progress took place for your son. The review I sent to you after the lesson listed the key achievements of the lesson and the agreed plan for moving forward. I feel this also shows clear coherence and structure in the lesson and shows consideration of your son’s current needs. I would never laugh at a student so feel there was some misunderstanding as I pride myself on the high quality relationship I build with students. It is disappointing that in the additional fifteen-minute meeting you, your son and I had after the lesson you were not able to raise any of these issues.
