Results in my department are usually 25-30% A*, which is more than double the school`s average at A-Level.

*UCAS* I am also the Assistant Head of our Sixth Form and my school`s UCAS Co-ordinator. I have experienced in the UCAS process for applying to university. I`m able to assist in writing high-quality, academic personal statements.

I have extensive, accurate and comprehensive knowledge of the Edexcel exam technique and am experienced in training and nurturing students to convey their ideas using the perfect structure that examiners are looking for.

Students will receive extensive notes on any topic that they request, all of which are written by myself and so are checked for relevance and accuracy within the specification.

Tutoring sessions are supported by interactive PowerPoints (all created by myself) which breakdown complex diagrams and information into more manageable chunks. Students will receive all copies of these PowerPoints upon request, so that they can revisit topics in their own time. All of this material is included in my fee.

I am enthusiastic, organised and knowledgeable teacher with QTS (qualified teacher status). I trained at the Institute of Education, which is part of the UCL in London and was recently ranked number 1 in the world for education for the fifth successive year.

As somebody who works in a school environment that is consistently setting high expectations, I have experience of tutoring both Year 12 and Year 13 Economics at A-Level and can help a student at any level reach their potential. I have also been employed by exam boards as an Examiner to mark A Level papers.

Experience: I have extensive knowledge of the Economics A-Level course, content and specification. The nature of Economics means that it is easy to spend time unnecessarily learning content that won`t be assessed or learning content in an overly-complicated manner, so I ensure that anybody I`m tutoring is using their time efficiently.

Exam technique is extremely important at A-Level and I have an extensive record of ensuring that students structure their answers in a way that exam boards are looking for.

*UCAS* I have been a UCAS Mentor for over 50 students and have worked with them through the development of their personal statements. I`ve helped with UCAS applications applying for Oxford, Cambridge and can assist with any Economics, Business, Finance, Business or Management related course.

You can be confident that I do not just have a degree (and therefore the knowledge) of Economics, but I am also able to teach the specific content and assessment requirements that the new (more rigorous) A-Level demands.
