I am advertising as a tutor in maths for all students studying at GCSE, AS and A-Level - or for those students that would like to training for the maths challenge or maths Olympiad.

I believe in learning various approaches to solving any given maths problem, as this leads to the deepest understanding of the subject. As such I work hard to develop materials that provide different ways of thinking - particularly geometric and analytical methods as well as numerical methods that form the foundation of computer science.

In addition to my academic experience (see below), I have worked in management consulting, specialising in information technology, for a number of years and therefore can offer an insight into professional applications of mathematics beyond school.

I live in Danbury, Essex and am happy to travel to students in Chelmsford or in the surrounding areas.

Experience: I have a master`s degree in mathematics from a top five university.

During my master`s I taught mathematical analysis to undergraduates, where my teaching was highly commended by the faculty.

I also have extensive experience of tutoring at A-level and GCSE level, privately.

In the last year I have completed a postgraduate course in law, during which I worked as a debate coach with Debate Mate, a charitable organisation aiming to promote confidence and public speaking to secondary school students.
