Hello, my name is Schery and I am a 4th year medical student at Imperial College London. For my A Levels, I attained A*A*A in Biology, Philosophy, and Chemistry, respectively, and A at AS Level German.

I have a tutoring experience of more than three years and during my gap year before starting university, I tutored extensively for a year, as my full-time job. Having completed school relatively recently and having been tutoring non-stop since, I have familiarised myself very well with the curriculum of different boards and I am able to relay, often complicated concepts, in a manageable fashion, for students.

I strongly believe that ‘exam technique’ plays a vital part in achieving excellent grades, at all levels. Knowledge of the content of a subject will allow you to attain good grades. However, I believe that those students that excel, are those who have perfected their exam technique and their subject knowledge. This is something that has been imperative for me not only at GCSE or A Levels but also plays an important part for my medical exams at university. I strongly believe that a student who has been through the process themselves would be an excellent person to relay these skills to students alike.

My lessons are always tailored to the needs of the student and make sure to have checks along the way to monitor their progress. I am always happy to re-explain concepts and change my technique if I feel it does not suit the student.
