Information about Parth
- SESSIONS FOR ECONOMICS -
Hi, my name is Parth, and I have 4 years of experience in supporting A-Level and GCSE Economics students unlock their potential.
I am currently in my final year studying Economics at UCL (University College London) and have scored 1:1 (the highest class) in the first two years of my degree, including achieving the highest mark in some of my modules in second year.
Scoring 95% in A Level Economics, I am eager to share my top tips with students in mastering concepts that may sometimes seem difficult to initially comprehend.
What is most enriching - in my opinion - is to witness how economic theory manifests in the world around us. Hence, where this summer, I spent 10 weeks interning in an M&A group of a leading investment bank, I believe I can offer some other insights to students that will help push their grade up that extra bit higher.
From experience, as a current student, I know that it is not always easy for all students to approach all subjects with a positive mindset, particularly where individual needs and pace is not always met in the classroom. Therefore, since 2017, I have been a mentor in and out of school, voluntarily using my lunchtimes and own time after school to aid students by catering for each students specific requirements albeit setting the relevant, manageable homework or preparing specific activities to gauge the level of my students.
I look forward to hearing from you, and please note that should you also have any questions about entrance exams / university / career preparation, I will also be able to support you with such questions.
Availability: I am fairly flexible with days (weekends and weekdays) and times. However, my preference would be to do early morning sessions (before the start of school).
